Soap Making Course - Level 2

Soap Making Course - Level 2

Do you make your own handmade soaps and now want to learn how to formulate your recipes and add complexity to your designs? Our advanced soapmaking course is for you!

The second level in a series of three, this course will familiarize you with the different properties of oils and butters used in soapmaking. It will also introduce you to some software programs used to develop soap recipes. During the course, you will be able to develop one or more soap recipes under the supervision of a soap expert and try them out directly on site. In addition, you will be taught various techniques for handling soap paste, and you will have the opportunity to practice some of them.

The course is "turnkey": all personal protective equipment, materials needed for manufacturing, and ingredients will be provided on site. A booklet of course notes will also be given to you during the course. All you need to bring is a pencil, a hair elastic, comfortable long-sleeved clothing that can be soiled (e.g., an old shirt or smock), and your soap mold (given during course 1 or any other rectangular soap mold).
